Durvalumab added to standard chemotherapy improved overall survival in mesothelioma

The trial evaluated adding durvalumab, an immune checkpoint antibody targeting PD-L1, to pemetrexed and cisplatin chemotherapy in 55 patients of any histologic subtype.
